What ShareDues is

ShareDues, made by Hatolabs, helps you track and split shared expenses with people you choose. It keeps score—it is not a bank, a wallet, or a payment service, and it never holds or transfers money. Settling up happens between you and your friends, outside the app.

Your account

You need an account to use ShareDues. Keep your credentials to yourself and give us accurate information. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Fair use

Don't use ShareDues to harass people, record debts someone never agreed to, break the law, or probe or disrupt the service. Balances in ShareDues are records you and your circles keep together—they are not legal instruments, and we can't arbitrate disputes about who owes what.

The service

Splitting expenses in ShareDues is free, with no usage caps. The service is provided "as is" without warranties; we may change, suspend, or discontinue features as it evolves. Exchange rates are refreshed daily from third-party sources and are informational, not financial advice. To the extent permitted by law, Hatolabs's liability arising from your use of ShareDues is limited to the greater of what you paid for ShareDues Premium in the twelve months before the claim — whether you paid us or an app store on our behalf — or fifty US dollars.

ShareDues Premium

ShareDues Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features. Splitting, circles, and currencies stay free whether or not you subscribe. Current prices and billing periods are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.

Premium is sold through the app store you installed ShareDues from—Apple's App Store or Google Play. Your purchase, renewal, and payment method are handled by that store under its own terms, and we never see your card details. A subscription renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel, and is charged to your store account within 24 hours before each period ends.

You can cancel at any time in your store account settings—on iOS in the system Settings app under your Apple Account, and on Android in the Play Store subscriptions screen. Cancel at least 24 hours before a period ends, because both stores charge the renewal within that final day; cancelling later stops the renewal after the one that has already been taken. Access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds are issued by Apple or Google under their policies, not by us, so refund requests go to the store. Where local consumer law gives you a withdrawal or refund right, that right applies regardless of anything in these terms. If the price changes, the store notifies you in advance and—where it requires your consent—will not renew until you give it; you can always cancel instead.

If your subscription lapses, your data is not deleted. Anything you created with a Premium feature stays readable, but Premium features stop working—for example, recurring rules stop generating new bills until you subscribe again.

Governing law and your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in—including any right to a refund, to withdraw from a purchase, or to a service that matches how it was described. Where that law conflicts with anything here, that law wins. These terms are otherwise governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and disputes may be brought in the courts there or, if your local law entitles you to, in the courts where you live.

You can stop using ShareDues and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks the fair-use rules above; if we do that while you hold a paid subscription, you can ask the store for a refund of the unused part.

Changes to these terms

If we make meaningful changes, we'll note the new date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
